Gina with her cat Smokey

Hey, I’m Gina!

I’m all about making things work better—whether that’s a business process, a customer experience, or my own morning routine (still a work in progress). I love bringing order to chaos, simplifying the complicated, and creating experiences that just make sense.

That’s me with my cat, Smokey Leroy Brown. He is 13 years old, I’ve had him since he was a tiny kitten. Now, he’s big, fat, and fully convinced that he owns this house. Honestly, he might be right.

I started my career in New York City, working in high-touch client services, where I learned that great experiences don’t just happen—they’re carefully crafted. I became fascinated with the little things that make a big difference: clear processes, well-placed automations, and making things easier for people. That curiosity led me into operations, onboarding, and UX design, where I now spend my time helping businesses streamline their workflows and create customer experiences that actually feel good to use.

These days, I’m based in Washington, D.C., where I’ve embraced a slightly slower pace—unless I’m working on a project, in which case, I’m running on espresso and sheer determination. When I’m not solving workflow puzzles, you’ll find me writing for my blog, designing products just for fun, journaling, experimenting in the kitchen, getting way too invested in a new TV show or movie, or spending time outside, soaking up nature.

I believe that good design isn’t just about looks—it’s about how things work, flow, and feel. And that applies to just about everything in life. If you’re into problem-solving, building cool things, or just swapping cat stories, we’ll probably get along just fine.

Let’s connect—I’d love to hear what you’re working on (or what your pet has taken control of lately).
